How to Get to Heaven
God Loves You
God loves you personally and wants you to spend eternity with Him in heaven! “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life” (John 3:16).
Man Has a Problem
The relationship between God and Man has been broken because we choose to sin against God rather than obey Him. “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.” (Romans 3:23) In spite of our attempts to do good, it is our sin that separates us from a holy God.
Sin Has a Penalty
The penalty for sin is death and eternal separation from God. “For the wages of sin is death…” (Romans 6:23).
Jesus Paid It All
Our sin was paid for when Jesus died on the cross! “But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us” (Romans 5:8).
Pray and Receive Christ by Faith
You can pray and receive Christ as your Savior right now! “For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved” (Romans 10:13). You can prayer this simple prayer in your heart right now:
“Dear Lord, I know that I am a sinner, and because of my sin I deserve hell. I’m asking You to forgive me of all my sin, and I now receive Jesus Christ as my Savior. I believe You died on the cross to pay for my sins and rose again. Thank you for saving me. In Jesus’ name, Amen.”
